Requesting an On-Site Interpreter

Remember: One unit of time working with a professional interpreter equals four units of time working without one.  Working with an interpreter keeps costs down and quality up.

You can request an On-Site interpreter in three different ways:

To request an interpreter over the phone, please call either:

Please be ready to provide the following information:

  • Access code
  • Name of your agency
  • Date and time of the interpreting session
  • Examiner’s name and contact information (if applicable)
  • Name of the location of the session and its address
  • Contact person and contact’s information
  • Language requested
  • Gender preference (if applicable)
  • Patient’s name (if applicable)

Once your request has been received, a representative from the On-Site department will call and verify your request.  We will contact you again once an interpreter has been assigned to your session.  When the interpreter arrives at the desired location, please ensure that his/her timesheet is signed, verifying the interpreter’s arrival and the session’s end time.
