The Avaza Language Services Corporation takes your privacy very seriously. The Company is committed to protecting your online privacy. We feel it is important for you to know how we handle the information we receive from you via the internet. You can visit without revealing any personal information. may contain links to websites operated by third parties. The Company has no control over the privacy policies and practices of such third party sites, and if you have any concerns, you are urged to review the terms of those sites for more information about the policies applicable to those sites.
Our privacy commitments are fundamental to the way we do business every day. These apply to everyone who has a relationship with Avaza – including customers (Federal Government, State, Individual,  (Over-the-Phone, On-Site, and translation) and Web site users.
We will protect your privacy and keep your personal information safe. We use powerful encryption and other security safeguards to protect customer data.
We will not sell your personal information to anyone, for any purpose. Period.

We recognize that the privacy policies are long, complicated and difficult to understand. That’s why we have focused on using words and sentences that are easy to follow and mean just what they say. There are a few important definitions you should know about.
As used in this Policy, the terms listed below have the following meanings:
“Avaza”, “the Company”, “We”, or “us” means the Avaza Language Services Corporation.
“User”, “You” and “Your” means each person who uses Avaza Web site including, but not limited to “Member”, “Client”, Subsidiaries, Affiliates, Employees, Parent and Legal Guardian.
“Member” means employee who establishes or accesses a connection
“Client” means visitor who establishes or accesses a connection
“Services” means interpret/translation services performed by Avaza.
“Contract” means the contract between the Client and Avaza, and consisting of the purchase order from the client and these Site Terms.
“Personal Information” means information that directly identifies or reasonably can be used to identify an individual user. Examples include name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, Social Security number, and financial account number. This Privacy Policy identifies and describes the way Avaza uses and protects the information we collect about users. All us of the Company’s products and services, as well as visits to the Site, are subject to this Privacy Policy.

4. Our Legal Duty and Responsibilities
We are required by law to protect the Privacy of your information, provide this notice about our information practice with respect to the information we collect and maintain about you, and follow the practices that are described in this notice. Should our information practices or policies changes, mail a revised notice to the address you have supplied, and post the revised notice in public areas within the organization. We agree to notify you if we are unable to agree to a requested restriction and to accommodate reasonable requests you may have to communicate health information by alternative means or at alternative locations. We will not use or disclose health information without your authorization, except as described in this notice.

5. What we provide to third parties
Except as noted above for surveys, Avaza does not provide any third party access to your IP address and email address.
We may provide third parties with aggregate statistics about our visitors, traffic patterns and related site information. These data reflect site-usage patterns gathered during visits to our website each month, but they do not contain behavioral or identifying information about any individual member unless that member has given us permission to share that information.

We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services. For certain services, we may give you the opportunity to opt out of combining such information. Your administrator will have access to your account information.

User communications – When you send email or other communications to the Company, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services. We may use your email address to communicate with you about our services.
Affiliated Avaza Services on other sites – We offer some of our services on or through other web sites. Personal information that you provide to those sites may be sent to the Company in order to deliver the service. We process such information under this Privacy Policy.
In addition to the above, we may use the information we collect to:

7. E-mail communications, newsletter and related services
Email communication that you send to us via the email links on our site may be shared with a customer service representative, employee, medical expert or agent that is most able to address your inquiry. We make every effort to respond in a timely fashion once communications are received. Once we have responded to your communication, it is discarded or archived, depending on the nature of the inquiry.
The email functionality on our site does not provide a completely secure and confidential means of communication. It’s possible that your e-mail communication may be accessed or viewed by another Internet user while in transit to us. If you wish to keep your communication private, do not use our email.

8. Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults age 18 and older. It is not intended for or designed to attract people under the age of 18. We do not collect personally identifiable information from any person we actually know to be under the age of 18.

9. Aggregate information
We use general traffic, site usage and length-of-stay information in reports to advertisers and firms with which we have a business relationship. This sort of information is shared only in aggregate and does not personally identify you.

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data.
